Are you ready to unlock your potential in system engineering at a world leading technology driven company?
We can offer an exciting opportunity where you get to use your technical skills in an innovative environment, with the aim to push the performance of radars to the limit. At Weibel, you will join a global, technology-driven company that develops and produces state-of-the-art radar systems. Our biggest asset is our talented employees, and we believe that by fostering open and curious discussions, we can achieve the best possible solutions.

We are now looking for a new colleague for our Systems Engineering team who wants to be a part of developing our advanced radar systems.

About the position
As a System Engineer in Weibel you will work with requirements and configuration of the overall system. This requires close collaboration with our different engineering departments to ensure that the various sub-systems work together in a manner that fulfills the overall system requirements.

Working at Weibel will provide you with hands-on experience with our radars. You get an understanding of the physics limiting radar performance and potential solutions. You are a part of the project from the final stages of the sales process until the factory acceptance test with the costumer, where the performance of the finished system is tested based on the predefined requirements.

The position will include tasks such as:

Drive product definitions and requirements in collaboration with project managers and sub-system engineers.
Take the technical leadership in a project by bringing people from different departments together, leading internal review meetings etc.
Participate in internal project meetings and technical meetings with the customer as responsible for system design.
Assist the project manager to prepare material for design reviews with the customer and to find answers to technical questions.
Provide technical support to our sales team during project bid-phases.
We do not expect you to have experience with radar systems beforehand, but it is an advantage. You will work in close collaboration with our experienced System Engineers, who have a deep understanding of our systems and you can look forward to a steep learning curve.

You can expect 10-20 travelling days per year.
