Senior Credit Analyst / Functional Lead til Partner Services i Nordea Finance

Senior Credit Analyst / Functional Lead for Partner Services at Nordea Finance

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Credit Analyst / Functional Lead to join our Partner Services team at Nordea Finance in a full‑time position.

About our team
In Partner Services, our primary focus is to perform credit assessments for private and business customers applying for car financing, as well as to deliver exceptional customer service that meets the needs and expectations of both our partners and our customers.

Our team consists of nine committed Nordea Finance employees, and we are now seeking an experienced colleague who can step into a functional lead role and help develop and optimise our credit assessment processes.

We need your passion for customers and your experience in handling and assessing loan applications to deliver the best possible service. With us, you will be part of an inspiring team with dedicated colleagues, where you make a difference every day by helping to realise our customers’ dreams and needs. If you have the required experience and want to be part of a team with strong unity and a fast pace, read on.

We work at the Hermes building in Taastrup. Typical working hours are Monday–Friday between 8:30 and 16:30. We expect all team members to rotate in covering shifts until 17:00, as well as Sundays from 11:30–16:00.

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values that guide us toward becoming the bank we aspire to be — and we imagine you share them with us.

What you will be working with
Primary responsibilities in this role:

Act as functional lead within creditworthiness assessments and contribute to the development of processes and methods
Assess credit risk and creditworthiness of customers, including complex and challenging cases
Independently process and decide on credit applications within your mandate, using a proactive and business‑oriented approach
Guide and support colleagues in credit assessment processes and best practices
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to optimise collaboration
Contribute to continuous improvement of credit policies and procedures
Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation

Who you are
This is the right position for you if you deliver the best possible customer experience by putting the customer at the centre of everything you do, and if you have experience assessing creditworthiness and credit risk. You must be able to take responsibility and initiative in a functional lead role while showing passion and actively contributing to a positive working environment. You are curious, eager to learn new things, share your ideas, and have the courage to speak up when challenged. An interest in cars and leasing is a plus, but not a requirement.

Your background and qualifications include:

Solid experience in credit assessment
Experience working as a specialist or lead within the credit area
Customer‑oriented, pleasant, and polite in communication via phone and email
Strong understanding of financial matters and financing solutions
Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex credit assessments
Fluent English, both written and spoken
It would be ideal if you also:

Have leadership or mentoring experience and can guide colleagues
Have a curious, proactive, and attentive personality with a strong problem‑solving mindset
Can both catch the details and avoid getting lost in them
Have experience performing credit checks
Have experience with process development and workflow optimisation
Currently work within creditworthiness assessment or a similar field
You might be exactly the person we are missing in our team, so please apply even if you do not meet every single requirement.
