Your position

As Senior Manager, Business Controlling, you will take on a key leadership role in our Renewables – Wind Service business. Based at our headquarters in Esbjerg or in our future office around Aarhus, you will lead and develop a team of skilled business and project controllers while acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the organization.

You will play a central role in shaping the financial direction of the business area, ensuring transparency, performance tracking, and alignment across countries, processes and systems.

 

Key responsibilities

 

Leadership & team development

- Lead, coach and develop the Business and Project Controlling team

- Build a high-performing, collaborative and proactive team culture

- Ensure clear prioritization, ownership and delivery across the team

 

Business partnering & performance management

- Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior management

- Own and drive financial performance across the business area

- Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations

 

Financial planning & reporting

- Own and drive budget and forecast processes

- Oversee monthly reporting and variance analysis

- Ensure high-quality group reporting aligned with standards

 

Controlling excellence

- Drive standardisation of processes and systems

- Improve data quality and transparency

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and digital initiatives

- Ensure financial governance on projects and tenders

- Support risk and profitability analysis

 

About you

You are an ambitious finance professional and bring leadership experience and strong financial expertise. You are structured, analytical and able to balance operational detail with strategic overview.

Furthermore you have:

- Relevant financial education

- Solid experience within business controlling

- Proven leadership experience

- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset

- Advanced user of Excel; Power BI experience is an advantage

- Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
